    Hey Tracy – this is interesting because people have been telling me about the toothpaste trick for years – I’ve never tried it myself because I can usually toss the piece in the tumbler. But I’ve told people to try it at home. Some say it works and others report nada has changed…so its the fluoride that makes the difference!

    Hi Tracy! I had never heard of toothpaste for silver before. But some of my pieces are tarnished so deep that the polishing cloths don’t work on them. I will definitely try your method. Thanks for the tip!

    My Venezuelan taught me that trick MANY years ago when I was lamenting my tarnished silver earrings… Until recently, it has been my go-to cleaning method (though I skip the toothbrush and just lather it up with my fingers!
