My 3 Fave Instagram Feeds for Vintage Jewelry Inspiration

Do you love vintage jewelry as much as I do?

Since I was I was a girl, I’ve been obsessed with the jewelry that was in my mother’s jewelry box. As an adult, I started collecting my own vintage jewelry and antique pieces from all over the world. In fact, vintage jewelry has become an inspiration for design elements which I incorporate into my designs.

So it’s no surprise that I have some favorites on Instagram. I thought I would share for you my top 3 fave Instagram feeds today…and yes, they are all vintage jewelry dealers in one way or another.

@MetierSF

Metier Images

Ahh, Metier! Metier was one of my first wholesale accounts back in 1998. Shari and her cohort Trina, always curate the most amazing jewelry (contemporary, vintage and estate) since she had her shop on Maiden Lane.

Over the years, they’ve evolved. Lucky for us, Metier is now online with one of the best instagram feeds ever. I am drooling over this Victorian Turquoise Enamel Ring. I think it might be mine really soon!

@GemGossip

Gem Gossip and Tracy Matthews

Duh, for jewelry lovers who doesn’t follow GemGossip. I serendipitously ran into Danielle on the streets of Soho which is funny because I Barely recognize celebrities walking around in my hood but felt compelled to shout out “you’re the GemGossip girl!”

Sometimes you just gotta do it. GemGossip has the most beautiful images consistently posted and quite frankly I buy want to buy everything.

@AgelessHeirlooms

Ageless Heirlooms

Recently I started following Ageless Heirlooms and I’m loving some of the simpler Vintage pieces she always shows.

She a collector, an appraiser and a dealer so she is always showing some really beautiful pieces in her feed.

So what did you think? Make sure you pop on over to say hi and follow me on Instagram.

    Not really my style, too much jewelry. I do love the vintage jewelry but on the pictures its a bit too much for me. A few jewels on your body is enough.
