4 Gemstones that Radiate LOVE Energy
As you may have read in my recent guest blog posts, January has been the month of the healing power of stones. I have had some fantastic guest blog posts this month touting the Ayurvedic properties of gemstones and the sexiness of rocks (well, really minerals). In keeping with my theme of touting the energetic qualities of Gemstones, I am writing about the gems of love today.
My first employee, Mara, back in the early days of TMD, INC. was obsessed with Valentine’s Day. A die-hard romantic, she could hardly wait for Valentine’s Day each year (in fact, I think she even got married on Valentine’s Day – don’t quote me on that)! She liked to call Valentine’s Day the “Ultimate Day of LOVE!” I tell this story because my belief is that there are a lot more people out there like Mara and those are the kinds of women who would die for a piece of jewelry on Valentine’s Day (or any romantic occasion) that carried a stone with LOVE energy in it.
**CORRECTION: Mara did not get married on Valentine’s Day but she did use the middle name “Valentine” for both of her children. She loves Valentine’s Day.
Unbreakable Love
The most evident gemstone of LOVE is the diamond. This brilliant sparkly stone is formed deep below the Earth’s surface under conditions of intense heat and pressure. It’s obvious for this stone to represent unbreakable love.
Commitment and Fidelity
Sapphires, one of my favorites, are known as the stones of love, commitment and fidelity. It’s no wonder Sapphires have made such a huge resurgence in engagement rings and wedding bands. Well, Kate Middleton inheriting Princess Diana’s stunning sapphire ring might have something to do with it. While most of us know this glorious stone for it’s stunning deep blue color, sapphires also come in a variety of colors such as pink, white and yellow.
Passionate Love
Rubies have always been one of my favorite stones. With their deep pink to red hue, it’s no wonder that Rubies are representative of passionate love and sexual desire. Giving this stone to your Valentine will surely help you spice things up in the bedroom.
New Love and Rebirth
Green is the color that radiates in the heart chakra. Not surprisingly, the deep forest green color of an emerald is also a sign of love, Spring-time, and new beginnings. Emeralds have been cherished over the ages as one of the most precious of stones.
If your lady (or dude) is anything like Mara, then these are perfect stones to incorporate into a piece of jewelry. If not for Valentine’s Day AKA “The Ultimate Day of Love” then for any occasion in which you desire to express your love and sentiment towards your significant other.
What is your favorite Gemstone of love? I would love to hear from you either in the comments below or shoot me a note.

Emerald is considered as the best stone for the “love and relations”. One can wear a natural emerald stone to gain the trust and the love.
