11-11-11 What’s in a number?

So what is in a number anyway? Today marks one of those days that we only see a once every 100 year – 11-11-11. If you Google the significance, you’ll come up with pages of commentary about Mayans, pyramids, ancient symbolism, astrology and numerology.

Why Now?

Last month was a powerful month astrologically for intention setting as it sets the path for the next 29 years in our lives. (You can Google that too-lots of reasons full of new moons and eclipses, etc). I don’t know about you, but I was being tested and pulled last month. The feeling and energy around me was one of HUGE change. Personally, I spent days redoing and creating a new vision board for all areas in my life. I created a ritual for change with some girlfriends at dinner one night using the candle on the table and a salt-shaker for a prop-it felt a little withchy, but it was really cool.

For the month of October, I started each of my classes challenging my students to conjure up what they want to manifest for the next big chunk of years for their lives. I heard from a lot of them and their

So now what do you do with it? Well, if you believe in any of this new-age stuff (maybe you just think it’s a bunch of BS-that’s cool), 11-11-11 is a powerful day of spiritual significance to manifest some of the changes you are envisioning in your life.

I encourage you to take a few moments today to mediate on the changes you want to draw in, especially those that will help you connect on a deeper level to your higher self. Then consider what it is that you want to create and believe it to be true. If it works out that you can sit with this at 11:11 am or 11:11 pm then stop where you are and sit with what you envision.

And if you don’t believe in this stuff, just blow it off. Listen, you’ll never know unless you try it, right?
