Drool Worthy Emerald and Diamond Convertible Drop Earrings

I’m obsessed Emeralds! So I was thrilled to be bombarded with an influx of custom design opportunities all featuring green stones. From emeralds to tourmaline, green stones are just stunning and perfect for jewelry of all types.

Earlier this summer, I received an email from a client who found me through a referral (which I love).

Emerald and Diamond Convertible Drop Earrings

My summer started off with a commission to design these Audrey Hepburn “worthy” convertible emerald and diamond earrings! I had a blast designing something so intensely fancy and gorgeous

Emeralds are said to nurture and open the heart chakra which made the perfect gift from a doting (and generous) husband.

My favorite part about these earrings is that they can be worn two ways.

Shown below, are the earrings in full form which are perfect for a black tie event or any fancy night on the town with your beloved.

My client also wanted to be able to wear the diamond stud element alone. The vintage feeling of the studs is perfect for a ladies lunch or a more “subdued” but elegant look.

I had a blast creating this piece because of the functionality and the two for one aspect of the design. They were VERY hard to give to the client (I wanted to keep them).
