My Favorite Looks from the Oscars 2014

Another Oscars Season rolled around and I loved some of the beautiful gowns and OF COURSE the jewelry. I picked out some of my favorite “all around” looks to feature today.

Cate Blanchett

I am so thrilled Cate Blanchett won for best actress (especially since one of my best friends, Shannon Finn, had a cameo in the movie). Her Armani Prive gown was by far my favorite look all around. I always love the red carpet choices Cate makes. She’s always wearing something that looks like a piece of art.

Charlize Theron

How much do I love Charlize? The Dior gown she chose is a perfect fit and I love the illusion straps. We’ll talk about that amazing jewelry later. Wow. Perfect.

Jennifer Garner

As someone obsessed with the Great Gatsby era, I loved Jennifer Garner’s Oscar De la Renta Dress. The movement was phenomenal! The silvery/gunmetal color looked great! Nice work.

Sandra Bullock

I loved the navy trend this year. Sandra Bullock rocked this navy Alexander McQueen Gown. Her hair looks amazing, she looks amazing. And I love her jewelry to boot. Right now Sandra!

Kate Hudson

I loved the Versace dress that Kate Hudson was wearing! Personally, I wish she would have stepped outside her plunging neckline comfort zone (I feel like she repeats this neckline often), the entire look was gorgeous. I’ve turned a corner on this one.

Kevin Spacey

Kevin Spacey has to be one of my favorite male actors of all time. I LOVE him in house of cards and I love this navy Burberry tuxedo. I also love that he pulled out an improve Frank Underwood from House of Cards while he was presenting. I will make cufflinks for him someday!

Sorry Lupita Nyong’o, I know I am a minority but I didn’t love that Prada dress on you. You are gorgeous and your other choices for awards season were amazing!
