Three Looks I Loved at the Golden Globes
Award season is off to a glittery start. For most of us, this is a time for home ballots and guilt-free popcorn. For others, it’s a time for nerves and speechwriting. But the one thing we all have in common is the pre-show glam-watch.
The carefully curated styles that show up on the Red Carpet every season are always fabulous – and let’s be honest, often the best part of the show. This year’s Golden Globes was no exception. The stars brought out the big guns and I was especially impressed by all the totally gorg jewels. Here’s a break down of what I loved the most.
Emeralds
First off, I want to say that Pantone’s prediction was spot on. Emerald Green is HOT this year. Several stars were rocking fabulous emeralds on the big night. Michelle Dockery’s gold and emerald drop earrings looked especially elegant with her gorgeous gown.

Bold Earrings
This also seems to be the year of bold earrings, and I’m loving it. These are some especially glam looks. Notice that Halle Berry is rocking some modern hoops and Emily Dechanel’s got a fabulous pair of edgy studs, styles I talked about here.

Classic Diamonds
Of course, every year, some stars opt for the ever-stylish old Hollywood classics. The other night at the Globes, this meant diamonds. As usual, they were gorgeous – and no one rocked them better than Jessica Alba with her breathtaking Harry Winston necklace.
