I don’t know about you but for me, this time of the year is insane! Between designing jewelry, shipping orders, teaching my yoga classes, attending holiday celebrations and managing to squeeze in a few hours of sleep, I feel like I am running on empty!
I needed to have a little sit down with myself the other day to get grounded. Check out this quick little self care practice that you can do anywhere, and when I say anywhere, I mean anywhere.
This practice is a really useful tool for life. Next time you are overwhelmed or anxious, try this simple practice.
1. Sit down or find a place to stand out of the way.
2. Close your eyes and start taking deep breaths through your nose. Notice any areas of tension or tightness in your body or in the energy that you are caring around.
3. Take 3-10 deep breaths in through your nose and exhale fully out your mouth.
4. Open your eyes and notice the difference.
